Even announces new Chairman of the Board of Directors
São Paulo, July 24, 2019 – Even Construtora e Incorporadora S.A. (“Company” or “Even”) in compliance with the Novo Mercado Regulations, article 20, sole paragraph, item III, and following its commitment to best corporate governance practices, informs that on August 15th, 2019, Mr. Leandro Melnick will cease to hold both positions of Chairman of the Company‘s Board of Directors and CEO. From that date on, Leandro Melnick will remain as Director and will be also dedicated to the position of CEO.
Leandro Melnick is a founding partner of Melnick Even, responsible for Even‘s operations in Rio Grande do Sul since 2008, and also Chairman of the Board since 2015. His tenure as CEO aims to ensure Company‘s long-term strategic planning continuity, prepared under his leadership.
The position of Chairman of the Board of Directors will be occupied by Mr. Rodrigo Geraldi Arruy.
Rodrigo Arruy is an independent member of the Board since November 9th, 2015, a member of the Audit Committee, the Finance Committee and the Related Party Transactions Committee, which guarantees an overall view of Company’s financial and strategic affairs. He is also one of the responsibles for the long-term strategic planning of the Company, and his role as Chairman ensures the plan’s execution continuity.
