Even is included in the BM&FBovespa’s Corporate Sustainability Index (ISE) for the third consecutive time

São Paulo, November 28, 2011 – Even Construtora e Incorporadora S.A. – EVEN (BM&FBovespa: EVEN3), a company with operations in São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro and Rio Grande do Sul and a focus on residential developments with units priced up to R$500,000, has retained its position, for the third consecutive year, as the only construction company in the select portfolio of the Corporate Sustainability Index (ISE) of the BM&FBovespa – Securities, Commodities and Futures Exchange which comprises those companies with a firm commitment to sustainability and social responsibility.

In addition to its inclusion in the ISE, this year Even published the third edition of its Sustainability Report and established a new standard of commitment to sustainability and transparency in the construction sector, becoming the first Brazilian residential builder to publish an inventory of its greenhouse gas emissions.

Created by the BM&FBovespa in 2005, the ISE comprises the shares of up to 40 companies that incorporate corporate sustainability and social responsibility principles into their management practices. The index reflects the global trend of investing in companies with these characteristics, in the belief that business continuity will result in profitable returns.

This is the seventh edition of the index and it will remain in effect between February and December 31, 2012. The new portfolio, composed of 41 shares from 38 companies representing 18 economic sectors, has a combined market capitalization of R$961 billion, equivalent to 43.7% of the total market capitalization of all companies listed on the São Paulo stock exchange on November 25, 2011.
