Even included once again in BM&FBOVESPA’s Corporate Sustainability Index in 2014

São Paulo, November 29, 2013 – Even Construtora e Incorporadora S.A. – EVEN (BM&FBOVESPA: EVEN3) for the fifth consecutive year, the builder and developer Even has been included in the portfolio of Corporate Sustainability Index (ISE) of BM&FBOVESPA – Securities, Commodities and Futures Exchange, which will be effective from January 6, 2014 to January 2, 2015. Even became a component of the index in 2009, and remains as the only real estate company included in this select group of 40 companies.

According to BM&FBOVESPA, the ISE seeks to create an investment environment consistent with contemporary society’s need for sustainable development and to encourage corporations to be ethically responsible. The index serves as a tool for comparative analysis of the performance of companies listed on BM&FBOVESPA from the standpoint of corporate sustainability, based on economic efficiency, environmental equilibrium, social justice and corporate governance.

The companies selected to be part of the portfolio have incorporated their commitment with sustainable development into their business strategy, and they publish a sustainability report, which remains available on a freely accessible section of their website. In addition to meeting the ISE criteria, Even has been recognized for its firm commitment to sustainability. In 2012, the Company received Latin America’s first EMPREENDEDOR AQUA certificate, and in 2013, it was considered model company in the construction industry by Guia Exame de Sustentabilidade. Currently, Even is also part of the Sustainable Leadership Platform.
